Does The American Wear ship worldwide?
Yes. The American Wear delivers globally. Orders are fulfilled from multiple locations depending on stock availability, and every item is inspected by our quality control team before it leaves.
How much does shipping cost?
Standard worldwide shipping is a flat $25 USD per order. The amount you pay at checkout covers the product price, shipping charges and any applicable sales tax.
How long does delivery take?
Standard shipping takes 10 to 15 working days in transit. Once your order is prepared for dispatch we email you a confirmation, and after you approve it we ship and send your tracking details on the next business day.
Will I have to pay customs duties or import taxes?
Some countries charge customs duties or import taxes on international orders. These fees are the customer's responsibility and are not collected by The American Wear at checkout.
Can I return an item?
Returns are accepted for items that arrive with a manufacturing defect, are damaged in transit, or are the wrong item. Notify us within 14 days of delivery with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photos or video. A free prepaid return label is included in the package, and a $25 restocking fee applies to eligible returns.
Can I exchange a jacket for a different size?
Exchanges are available for defective or damaged items only. We do not accept exchanges or returns for incorrect size selection, colour preference or change of mind, so please check the size guide or email us before ordering and we will help you choose.
How do I track my order?
We email a tracking link as soon as your order ships. You can also enter your order details on our order tracking page. We ship with FedEx, DHL, UPS and USPS.
What are The American Wear jackets made of?
Our jackets are made from real leather or sheepskin leather, with viscose or shearling linings depending on the style. Every product page lists the exact material, lining, closure, collar and cuff details.
What sizes are available?
All jackets are available in US sizes XS, S, M, L, XL and XXL. Sizing stays consistent from season to season, and if you are between sizes email us before ordering.
